It has yet to be reported if the first puffs of white smoke came from the top of the William Penn Building, or from the front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, or from the chimney at Pat’s King of Steaks, but what we know for sure are these three things:
1. LeBron James is now a Philadelphia 76er.
2. The Sixers are now one of the more intriguing on-paper teams in years.
3. The Knicks remain a (slight) favorite to defend their title in the East, according to most of the major gambling houses.
