Laurence Fox's furious tirade at London cops after children's iPads are taken by officers

Laurence Fox railed against London Mayor Sadiq Khan and the Metropolitan Police in a foul-mouthed outburst on social media.

The actor-turned-political party leader hit out after being informed that the Metropolitan Police confiscation of his childrens’ iPads would continue over Christmas.

Back in October, police officers seized all of Mr Fox’s electronic devices, including his sons’ iPads, when his home was searched following his arrest.

He had been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras and encouraging or assisting offences to be committed.

The 45-year-old founder of the Reclaim Party took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to slam the priorities of the police.

He tweeted: “Found out today that the @metpoliceuk are keeping my kids iPads for Christmas, whilst they continue to ‘investigate’ me.

“In a city where knife murder is rampant, taking iPads off two boys who have done nothing wrong is really going to help.

“The @MayorofLondon @SadiqKhan is scum.”

He earlier posted: “The family is not the property of the state.”

During the police search back in October, Mr Fox filmed officers putting his property into bags.

Hours after his arrest, Mr Fox’s employer GB News announced it was sacking him.

This week, Mr Fox topped the Ofcom charts as the most complained-about TV event of the year.

His appearance on the Dan Wootton Tonight show on GB News in late September drew controversy following derogatory remarks about journalist Ava Evans.

The episode received 8,867 complaints, with viewers objecting to Mr Fox’s comments about the political correspondent and her appearance.
