Shoppers are finding it hard to believe how effective a moisture absorber is at collecting water in their homes. The Absodry Moisture Absorber is currently priced at £22.39, a 20% saving from its usual price of £27 at Lakeland.
Available in a stylish grey colour, shoppers say they not only look good, but are also incredibly effective in moisture-prone spaces such as bathrooms, garages or basements. A 600g bag of moisture-absorbing crystals is included, which is expected to last up to three months. Refill bags are also available to buy.
These crystals absorb the excess moisture from the air and condense it into the water container, preventing too much humidity. Its sleek and minimalist design means it can look discrete on a window ledge or shelf. As well as grey, it is also available in green, pink or blue.
Another bonus is that it functions without electricity and is completely silent. And a handy feature is that is has an indicator to signal when the water container is full and needs emptying. There are a few other options if shoppers want to look around too, like the Wilko Refillable Dehumidifier Fresh Linen – Green – which is £2.99. This is described as being ideal for use in closets, bathrooms and kitchens, and is refillable. It is 18cm in height and is durable as it can be refilled.
Another option is the Minky Damp Guard Moisture Absorber, which is on offer at Screwfix with a 33% saving. It currently costs £9.99, down from £14.99. The 0.5 litre absorber features an adjustable air vent to absorb moisture quickly and efficiently, and a spout to allow the water to be poured down the drain.
But Lakeland shoppers are highly recommending the Absodry Moisture Absorber, which has a string of 5 star reviews. One said: “Needed a solution for my cloakroom to manage the damp smell and moisture, these not only look good but work so well. Takes a few days to start working but the amount of water this has collected is amazing! Highly recommended!”
