A Metro Los Angeles train slammed into a car in Glendale en route to Union Station Wednesday morning, Glendale police said.
Passengers told The Post that two Metrolink staffers said a person had been killed in the collision, which happened shortly after the train left Burbank around 9:04 a.m.
Police didn’t confirm anyone had been killed.

Passengers on board said they felt a sudden jolt and heard the loud crash.
“It made a very loud smashing noise, and you could feel the impact on the train,” one regular commuter told The Post while still on the train.

An announcement confirmed the collision around 9:05 a.m., said the passenger, who is a USC professor.

The train later slowed and stopped at San Fernando and Colorado, where firefighters walked through the cars checking on passengers.
In a video shared with The Post, multiple fire and police vehicles can be seen responding to the scene.
One man was taken away in an ambulance, though it’s unclear whether he was from the train or the vehicle.

The train remained on the tracks as crews continue their investigation and passengers were told it could take up to three hours until they were let off the train.
