King Charles's treatment 'going well' as doctors remain positive about cancer prognosis

King Charles has reason to be optimistic about his cancer diagnosis, as a royal source told Express.co.uk that his “treatmenmt is going well”.

They added that “both doctors and patient remain positive” as it was announced that the King would attend the Easter Sunday church service at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle this weekend.

His Majesty’s appearance at the service will be his first in public since news of his illness was confirmed in early February, with this development a positive sign that his doctors believe he is well enough to be around other people.

The Royal Family will be led at the service by King Charles and Queen Camilla, although Prince William, Princess Kate and their three children will not be attending.

Last Friday evening the Princess of Wales revealed she too had been diagnosed with cancer and will be taking indefinite leave to focus on her recovery.
