King Charles 'would love to have Prince Harry back' as he is desperate to make amends

King Charles III is very keen to patch up his fractured relationship with Prince Harry and would be willing to welcome him back into the Royal Family, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal author Robert Hardman discussed King Charles and Prince Harry’s ongoing feud in his new book, Charles III: New King. New Court. The Inside Story.

The author states that he believes the father and son will reunite at some point in the future and that “the door will always be open” for Harry.

Speaking to Newsweek, Mr Hardman said: “I don’t know how and when. Certainly, on this side of the Atlantic, the door is always open, and there’s so much other stuff going on.”

Although the King may be open to the idea, the author claims that Harry may not be on the same page – especially after his string of explosive claims.

The author said: “Charles would love to have him back in the fold, not being royal again – I think that ship has sailed, and I’m sure Harry would not want to do that.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior working royals at the start of 2020, with their final engagement taking place in March 2020 – just days before the global pandemic took hold.

Mr Hardman also believes that the prospect of Harry and Meghan being welcomed back by the royals is “not completely impossible”.

He claims that “private play dates ” between Prince William’s three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – and Prince Harry’s two children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet – will, in some way, restore the fractured relationship.

It has since been reported that Harry and Meghan have reached out to the King and the Princess of Wales after their recent health scares.

The couple are said to have sent their well wishes to Harry’s father and sister-in-law. A source told The Mirror: “The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health.”
