King Charles has been spotted in public for the first time since his youngest son Prince Harry gave a bombshell interview to the BBC, where he shared some insight into his current relationship with his father. The 76-year-old was seen on his way to church at his Royal Sandringham estate in Norfolk, which is where he is staying this weekend.

Harry, 40, had been seeking to overturn a decision that had downgraded his security after he stopped being a working royal and moved to the US. As well as speaking of his own fears, the 40-year-old has previously shared his worries about safety have prevented him from bringing his wife and two children to the UK.

Earlier this week, it emerged that he had lost his latest battle to overturn the decision.

Sharing more about his relationship with his father, the Duke of Sussex revealed: “I don’t know how much longer my father has. He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff.”

The Sunday Times later reported that the King’s friend said: “Harry just sees conspiracy every time a decision doesn’t go in his direction. He is like a gambler in a casino who can’t walk away – he just doubles down.

“Even when he speaks of reconciliation, it is laced with threats and anger.”
