Kim Kardashian is ready to get her spooky on.
The reality television darling, who’s been tapped to star on the latest season of “American Horror Story,” appeared in a teaser trailer for the horror anthology series released Thursday.
Donning icy blonde hair and jet-black gloves, Kardashian appears alongside “AHS” co-stars Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne in the eerie clip, which features a group of blonde lookalikes juxtaposed with maternity images of an egg-filled nest and baby’s cradle. Kardashian is later seen holding what appears to be a baby in her arms.
Kardashian and Roberts teased their “AHS” roles in April with a clip of their names and the season’s title “Delicate.” “This summer…Kim and I are delicate,” Roberts wrote on Instagram at the time.
The season takes inspiration from the upcoming Danielle Valentine novel “Delicate Condition,” per a Hollywood Reporter exclusive, which follows the horrifying pregnancy journey of an indie actress.
Kardashian previously opened up about her excitement to be on the show and delve into acting in an interview with Variety in May.
“It’s really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I’m so excited for the experience,” Kardashian told the outlet, adding she was taking acting classes to prepare. “I like to challenge myself.”
Despite her novice status, this isn’t Kardashian’s first go at acting.
The Skims founder previously starred as Nikki LePree on the dramedy “Drop Dead Diva” for a four-episode stint in 2012, according to Kardashian’s IMDb page. She also starred as Ava in the 2013 Tyler Perry drama “Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor.”
“Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family,” Murphy told THR in April. “(Showrunner) Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.”
