Kim Kardashian asked directly to apologise to Princess Kate and gets slammed for response

Kim Kardashian has been embroiled in a scandal over her Princess Kate ‘joke’ – but is refusing to apologise.

The The Kardashians star, 43, is facing a wave of criticism after she joked about the Princess of Wales’ absence from public life, which sparked wild conspiracy theories about her health.

Just a week before Prince William’s wife shared her diagnosis in a heartfelt video message, Kim had posted a picture of herself next to a sports car on Instagram, captioned: “On my way to go find Kate”.

A week after Kim’s post, Kate put an abrupt end to the gossip as she issued a statement revealing she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment.

While other celebs have climbed down and apologised for their ‘jokes’, stubborn Kim hasn’t taken down the snaps, changed the caption or apologised.

On Saturday, Kim was seen heading to her eldest son Saint’s football match in Los Angeles.

When asked by photographers about Kate, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star remained silent, reports the Mirror.

“Amy comments on Kate?” one called out to her, but she either didn’t hear the question or chose not to say ‘sorry’.

Some of the 364million followers that Kim posted the pic to are demanding an apology for Kate, who took her time to come to terms with her news and tell her children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5.

One fan said angrily, “You should take this down! ” Another one said, “She’s having cancer treatment… this has not aged well.”

Another pleaded: “Can you please go find an apology instead??” while another brutally slammed: “Well I guess you found her in the chemo ward Kim.”

Many implored the reality TV star: “You owe our Princess an apology.”

The mother-of-four wasn’t the only A-lister to make a joke at the Princess’ expense before the devastating news was revealed as Blake Lively took a jab at her now infamous Mother’s Day photo.

On Friday, Kate told the public that finding out she had cancer was a big shock.

She said: “It has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them, and to reassure them that I am going to be ok.

“As I have said to them; I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body and spirits.”

Kate also added: “Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both.”
