Killer FedEx driver Tanner Horner was seen cleaning the van he used to abduct and murder 7-year-old Athena Strand in disturbing security video taken from the vehicle.
Horner, 34, is seen using a spray and a large roll of paper towels to wipe down the hack of his vehicle, footage played in a Fort Worth courtroom on Thursday during his murder trial shows.
The child murderer was filmed continuing to scrub the truck for several minutes before returning to the driver’s seat and driving off during the video, which was taken on Nov. 30, 2022, the same day he kidnapped and strangled his victim.
In the same video, Horner is also seen appearing to light a cigarette and calmly smoking out of the window of the van.
During his trial, Horner last week admitted to murdering Strand, claiming he acted in a panic after accidentally hitting her with his van.
