Usually in the NFL, when a team loses its starting quarterback early in the season, the season spirals and ends in a bad place.
In the case of the Giants, who lost Jaxson Dart for the season to a knee injury in Week 2 against the Rams on the road, the team has survived … and even thrived.
Thanks, in large part, to 32-year-old Jameis Winston.
Winston, a very religious man who sounds like he’s preaching when he’s speaking, very well might turn out to be the Giants’ savior in 2026. So far, that’s exactly what he’s been.
