A Kentucky woman was all smiles in her mugshot after cops say she drunkenly plowed her Tesla through a crowd of pedestrians, injuring at least four people.

Kaydence Carpenter, 20, flashed her pearly whites for a booking photo at Fayette County Detention Center Sunday – hours after she allegedly drove the car over a curb and into a group of people in a downtown Lexington parking lot around 2:15 a.m.

Troubling video footage posted to X shows Carpenter — who reeked of booze and later bombed a sobriety field test, according to cops — arguing with four people on the sidewalk, before quickly ducking into the black Tesla Model 3 and throwing it into reverse.

An aerial view of the scene then shows the vehicle suddenly accelerate forward, as around a dozen panicked bystanders desperately try to flee its path forward, the Lexington Herald Leader reported.

The Tesla is seen striking at least three people on its way out of the parking lot, then continuing to drive the wrong way down a one-way street – as incredulous bystanders chase after the vehicle.

The four victims were expected to make a full recovery, according to cops, who didn’t elaborate on their injuries.

The video footage later shows a shoeless Carpenter – clad only in black shorts and a tan tank top – getting ripped from the driver’s seat by three police officers, who put her in handcuffs.

According to an arrest document, the scantily-clad brunette had bloodshot and watery eyes, slurred speech and smelled strongly of booze when cops caught up with her – and a fake ID in her car, according to an arrest document.

Carpenter, who refused to take a breathalyzer test and failed her field sobriety test, was charged with four counts of second-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, DUI, reckless driving and licensee allowing a person under the age of 21 on premises where alcohol is sold, according to court documents reviewed by WKYT.

She was released from county jail after posting a $5,000 bond and has pleaded not guilty to the charges, the outlet reported.

A judge granted the state’s request to suspend her driver’s license until the case is resolved. Her next court appearance is April 14.

Carpenter’s attorney could not be reached for comment.
