A Kentucky mom allegedly gave her 22-month-old son a bizarre dot-shaped tattoo because he “wanted” one, according to alarming reports.
Brook McDaniel, 27, was cuffed on Monday after Kentucky State Police responded to her home in Monitcello over a child abuse complaint, Lex18 reported.

McDaniel allegedly told troopers that she was “tattooing her own leg” when her toddler “walked up to her and stuck his arm in the way of her tattoo gun,” according to an arrest citation obtained by the outlet.
Police then spotted a “black dot tattoo” on the tot’s right forearm with redness around it, the citation said.
Several witnesses informed troopers that McDaniel described the tattoo as a “party dot tattoo” and strangely claimed that “he [the child] wanted the tattoo,” the document added.
Troopers also alerted the Department for Community-Based Services over “deplorable” living conditions in the home, the outlet reported.
McDaniel was charged with fourth-degree assault (child abuse) and booked into the Adair County Detention Center.
She was ordered held on a $5,000 cash bond, WKYT reported.
