Kemi Badenoch blasted Sir Keir Starmer as “what is wrong with politics” in a major speech today.
The Tory leader declared her party as “under new leadership” and pledged to tell the truth to voters “even when it is difficult to hear”.
She said it was “hard not to feel sorry” for Labour because it had walked into some of the same “traps” as the Conservatives.
Mrs Badenoch added: “But I don’t feel sorry for them.”
She referred to the Prime Minister branding politicians calling for a national probe into grooming gangs as jumping on a “far-Right bandwagon”.
She said: “He is what is wrong with politics.”
