Keir Starmer’s cowardice is in unholy alliance with two-tier policing for perfect storm | Politics | News

It is almost unbelievable that we are even having this debate. Yet here we are — people taking to the streets to protest the Supreme Court’s ruling that a woman is, in fact, a biological woman. That we even needed a Supreme Court decision to define the obvious tells you everything you need to know about the state of modern Britain. Our political class — from the Tories to Labour and the Lib Dems — has utterly lost its mind.

We have Ed Davey, the so-called leader of the Liberal Democrats, claiming some women have penises and Keir Starmer, our actual Prime Minister, previously embarrassed himelf by saying it was “not right” to say only women have cervixes. These aren’t fringe politicians. These are the supposed leaders — and they can’t bring themselves to say what a five-year-old knows. This madness hasn’t just damaged political credibility — it has put women and girls directly at risk.

Single-sex spaces — toilets, changing rooms, rape crisis centres, prisons — were at risk of being torn down in the blink of an eye to appease a handful of extremist activists who are determined to push the trans ideology to its most absurd and dangerous limits.

Let’s be clear: every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and humanity. But this respect cannot — must not — come at the cost of women’s safety, fairness in sport, or the very definition of biological reality.

It is not “kindness” to create loophole that male predators can exploit for easier access to women’s spaces. It is cowardice. It is betrayal.

The Supreme Court’s ruling is a rare and welcome blast of common sense. Yet instead of accepting it, thousands of so-called “protesters” took to the streets — vandalising statues, urinating publicly, and brandishing placards with explicit death threats.

All this, and the police? They stood by, watching. We are facing a two-tier policing system — one for the woke mob, and another for everyone else.

Imagine for one second if a group of ordinary Britons had sprayed graffiti on statues, issued death threats, and rioted through the streets. There would have been mass arrests. Yet the “trans rights” protests in London and Edinburgh passed largely without consequence.

Seven statues defaced. Open incitement to violence. Organised public disorder. And the Met Police’s response? “We’re examining footage.”

This is not about equality. This is about submission. A violent, hateful minority now believes it can hold Britain hostage. They despise biological truth, and they despise the common sense of the British people. And unless the authorities grow a spine, they will continue to escalate.

We now learn that further protests are planned across the country — Birmingham, Liverpool, Belfast, Bristol and beyond. Organisers claim to be fighting against “hatred and discrimination” — yet it is they who bring hatred to our streets, graffiti to our monuments, and threats to anyone who dares disagree.

Make no mistake: they are not marching for “human rights.” They are marching to tear down reality itself — and they are prepared to use fear and violence, if some placards are to be believed, to do it.

If the police are serious about “equality,” they must act. Arrest those who vandalise our cities. Arrest those who incite violence. Treat these protesters not as a protected class, but as what they are: lawbreakers. No more excuses. No more two-tier policing.

The vast majority of Britons are compassionate, tolerant, and fair. But tolerance must never mean surrendering truth. We are a nation built on common sense, fairness, and law — not on the fantasies of radical ideologues.

Britain must stand firm. Biology is not bigotry. Reality is not hate. And protecting women and girls is not up for negotiation.
