Keir Starmer torn apart as eagle-eyed critics spot embarrassing Christmas card detail

Keir Starmer has been left humiliated after eagle-eyed critics spotted a revealing detail about his Christmas card.

The card features a photograph of him and his wife Victoria on a glitter-red background with ‘Merry Christmas’ in front of them.

But despite the festive message, social media users quickly noticed that the original image had been photoshopped to give the Labour leader the upper hand.

After comparing the before and after images, people have concluded that the picture has been changed to make Mr Starmer appear taller than his wife.

It was also noted that Victoria appeared much more shadowy in the picture, while Sir Keir was well-lit.

One (@keewa) said on X (formerly Twitter): “Very curious about the lighting on this picture, he’s lit up like a Christmas tree and she’s comparatively in shadow.

“His arms also look really short because of foreshortening.”

Another said: “They really couldn’t deal with the fact that he’s shorter than his wife, could they?”

A user added: “Starmer’s team making a terrible Christmas card because he wanted to look taller than his wife is incredibly Keir Starmer.”

Another agreed, saying: “This is the official Keir Starmer Labour Christmas card and it looks like something mocked up on a pc from the mid-90s. Appropriate really given his entire world view is that dated.”

This comes just days after Just Stop Oil activists sang climate-themed Christmas carols outside Sir Keir’s home.

The group were calling on him, as the “likely leader of the next UK Government”, to “commit to cancelling all new oil and gas licences”.

They were asked to move on by Met Police officers, who confirmed that no arrests were made.
