Keir Starmer has his hands up in surrender whenever he walks onto world stage | Politics | News

They just keep coming, don’t they, Possums? One bleep-up and surrender after the other! The Chagos archipelago, the EU reset, Gibraltar and the spending review just delivered by the Princess of Thieves, Rachel from accounts. Summing up this insult to the collective national intelligence were the hapless Chancellor’s words…. “These are my choices. These are this Government’s choices. These are the British people’s choices”.

The things about “her” choices and “the government’s choices” is political theatre I can understand, but the corker was “the British people’s choices”. Since when did we choose any of the consequences of the last 12 months of this abominable Labour Government?Equally insulting to traditional British values was when standing at the despatch box Two-Faced Two-Tier engaged in his increasingly habitual grandstanding by touting the success of the 2012 London Olympics because of a Labour government.

As I recall, it was the energy and charisma of Boris Johnson that made the games the overwhelming success they proved to be! But I suppose when you’ve got Farage breathing down your neck and soaking up your traditional support base by the bucket load then you’ll desperately seek solace wherever you can find it, won’t you, Possums?

Labour haven’t even been in office a year and they have already taken a wrecking ball to the British economy, wantonly destroying the engines of prosperity in the process. Typical tax and spend, dancing to their union paymasters on cue, whilst capitulating to every chancer that comes knocking on our door. Smash the gangs! A year in and we have sweet blow-all to show for what we knew, let’s be honest, were always empty words to begin with.

As a matter of principle, how can you accommodate so many people who have pitched up uninvited? How can you justify accommodating them in luxurious digs nowhere near what they are used to? How can you splash the cash, handing them spending money and providing medical care at the expense of our own people?

And to add insult to injury, we witness the French sitting there taking the bleep with a consistent stream of double-digit Gallic salutes. We’re paying them half a billion nicker annually to give us a
hand stopping the boats, but this country has become a total joke, with the laugh on us because we’re paying them for bleep-all!! Is this your EU reset, Prime Minister?

But perhaps what shames us as a country the most is the appalling rapidity with which our elected Government shifts policy positions on a seemingly populist whim. Led by the “flipflopper-in-chief”, that “orange ball-chewing manacled gimp of Brussels”, as Boris recently labelled him, we see Labour U-turn after Labour U-turn. Non-existent policy consistency on a failed policy agenda anyway since this shower of miscreants took office.

Two-Tier is, of course, far too busy strutting his stuff in the Canadian Rockies rubbing shoulders with the other G7 leaders to involve himself in such mundanity. Hands Up! Chagos gone; sold out our fishing industry too in a general capitulation to Brussels; surrendered over Gibraltar by allowing EU nationals to check our passports on arrival on UK sovereign territory… personally should I ever go to Gibraltar then I will happily comply with British officials, but any EU person asks me to show my passport to
them on British soil and there’s not a chance in hell of this happening; I shall refuse along with many others who share the same sentiments!

If I travel to the EU from Gibraltar, then I would expect formalities with which I will comply immediately. What next? The Falklands? Don’t bet against it. Where is the passion and the pride for what once made us as a nation envied the world over? A failed state is where we are headed unless we wake up!
