Justin Herbert already has beer at home. That is, his fiancée, Madison Beer.

But he seemingly needs more beer than that to drown the sorrows of his still-winless Los Angeles Chargers season.

The Chargers quarterback, 28, was seen buying two cases of Miller Lite and bringing it back to his car in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood on Wednesday.

While Herbert’s hat and hoodie combination make it seem like he didn’t want to be seen, paparazzi took numerous photos of him bringing the beer and other groceries back into his car in Los Feliz.

These photos of Herbert buying beer have gone viral on social media, with many fans commenting that it’s a necessary purchase given the Chargers being 0-6.

“Justin Herbert is one of us. Drinking the pain away 🍻,” wrote one social media user, whose photos have nearly a million views.

“Herbert went to buy a six-pack, remembered who he plays for, and grabbed the whole case 😭,” added @CrossingXLines.

“50 mil per year and we drinking miller lite,” wrote @chrgrscursed, who seemed to take exception to Herbert’s choice of beer.

Herbert is having the worst season of his career under first-year offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel, completing just 59.4 percent of his passes with 1,141 yards, five touchdowns and eight interceptions.

The Chargers are on bye this week, which might be why Herbert chose now to drink. Or perhaps he has been drowning his sorrows throughout the season.

Perhaps Herbert can drink in celebration if the Chargers beat the Los Angeles Rams during their next game, which is on Nov. 1. Perhaps not.
