Joe Biden brutally mocked after dithering behind King of Jordan during White House speech

Joe Biden appeared confused during a speech at the White House, wandering around behind the King of Jordan in an incident that has seen him brutally mocked as concerns around his health surge.

The 81-year-old president was seen shuffling around, seemingly unsure of where he was meant to be standing while King Abdullah II of Jordan prepared to deliver his speech.

Biden said, according to the New York Post: “Your majesty, over to you,” before seemingly throwing the King out of his stride.

At one point, the Jordanian ruler looked over his left shoulder expecting to see Biden, who then joked: “I switched sides on you.”

This comes just days after special counsel Robert Hur decided not to recommend legal action relating to Biden’s handling of classified White House documents.

But Democrat supporters are backing Biden after a video went viral. One supporter, Josh Fields, said: “Biden’s age is concerning, but he’s very obviously looking for the floor marker for the camera shot.

“They’ll usually place a piece of tape on the ground. They do this in movies, plays, TV, pressers, etc. I’ve seen other actual concerning things, this isn’t one of them.”

Even though his team tries to protect him, polls show that lots of people worry if Biden, who is quite old, can handle being president. A huge 86 percent of Americans think he’s “too old” and 62 percent say the same about Donald Trump, who is also 77.
