Jet2 flight forced to land after man found dead in plane toilet


A passenger has died on a Jet2 flight from Tenerife to Manchester. The man was found when fellow passengers noticed the toilet had been locked for some time. 

A spokesperson for the airline told the Mirror: “Flight LS918 from Tenerife to Manchester diverted to Cork Airport on Tuesday 2nd January, due to a customer requiring medical attention. Regrettably, we can confirm that the customer sadly passed away. Our thoughts are with the customer’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
