Jermaine Johnson’s fiancée is “so grateful” for years of New York memories as a new chapter in Tennessee awaits.
Shortly after the Jets agreed to send Johnson to the Titans on Thursday in a reunion with his former coach, Robert Saleh, Hannah Brooke took to Instagram, where she reflected on the engaged couple’s run with Gang Green.
“Very bittersweet leaving New York… this has been our home together for years and I’m so grateful to have had some of the best memories of my life here. MetLife, you will be missed!” said Hannah, who previous starred on the Netflix reality show, “Too Hot to Handle.”
“@nyjets thank you for giving my man the opportunity to do what he loves the past 4 years 💚 Onto the next chapter… Tennessee HERE WE COME 😍 Go Titans.”
The Jets’ first-round pick in 2022, Johnson was elected to the Pro Bowl in his second season after posting 7.5 sacks in 2023.
An Achilles injury marred his 2024 campaign, while the edge rusher only tallied three sacks this past season.
In exchange for Johnson, the Jets will receive nose tackle T’Vondre Sweat, although the deal cannot be made official until the start of the new league year on March 11.
Saleh coached Johnson for the first two-and-a-half years of his career before his Jets firing in October 2024.
He served as defensive coordinator of the 49ers last year in his second stint with the team.
The Titans hired Saleh as their head coach in January following an extensive search.
Johnson, who welcomed son Kayto with Hannah earlier this year, expressed gratitude for the Jets in a heartfelt goodbye Thursday.
“New York, thank you for everything, truly,” the 27-year-old wrote on Instagram. “… Tennessee LETS 🤬 WORK !!!”
The Titans will host the Jets during the 2026 regular season.
