Jazz Chisholm has big goals with Yankees future uncertain

Jazz Chisholm Jr. has made it no secret that he would love to stick around in The Bronx for the foreseeable future.

In part because the Yankees have generally become averse to offering extensions, any long-term commitment will almost certainly have to wait until next offseason.

Which means Chisholm is about to enter a walk year with plenty at stake, potentially setting him up to cash in next winter, which would benefit both him and the Yankees, regardless of where he eventually ends up.

“For me, I just put my trust in God,” Chisholm said Friday afternoon in The Bronx, where he donated 25 laptops and an interactive display screen to a new computer lab (plus a pair of sneakers to each student) at Community School 55.
