Isla Phillips turns 12 today – here's 10 adorable photos

The younger daughter of Peter Phillips and Autumn Kelly, Isla Phillips, is celebrating her twelfth birthday today, March 29, with Express.co.uk taking a look back at some of her best moments captured on camera.

Isla Elizabeth Phillips arrived on March 29 2012, nearly four years after her parents tied the knot on May 17 2008, and just over a year after her older sister Savannah Anne Kathleen was born on December 29 2010.

It has been speculated that Isla’s middle name is in honour of her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, as is the case with many baby girls in the Royal Family, although this has never been confirmed.

Isla and Savannah parents are now divorced, however they continue to co-parent their daughters successfully and happily along with Peter’s new partner Lindsay Wallace.

Here we take a look at Isla’s journey from adorable baby girl to sophisticated young woman.

The following year, 2013, Peter took his young family to the Ascot Races, which the royals famously attend every year.

Isla and her big sister Savannah live on the Gatcombe Park estate belonging to their grandmother, Princess Anne.

This puts them in close proximity to their cousins Mia, Lena and Lucas Tindall, who also live on the estate with their parents Zara, Peter’s younger sister, and Mike Tindall.

In 2015 Isla and the rest of the Phillips family were once again at an equestrian event at Gatcombe.

The Royal Family are passionate about horses and all forms of horse racing, with Isla’s aunt Zara Tindall even winning a silver medal for Team GB as part of the equestrian team at London 2012.

Over lockdown in 2020, five years after this picture was taken, Princess Anne revealed that her four granddaughters Savannah, Isla, Mia and Lena had joined her for horse rides.
