“Party Mom” — the notorious California woman found guilty of hosting booze-fueled sex parties for high schoolers — will learn her fate later this month. As her sentencing nears, here’s a rundown of some of the wild revelations from her three-month courtroom saga.

Shannon O’Connor is facing up to 30 years in prison after she was found guilty Wednesday, convicted on 48 felony counts, including sexual battery, child endangerment, and giving alcohol to minors.

An alleged victim testified that there was “no escape” from parties hosted by the so-called “Los Gatos Party Mom,” O’Connor, where teenage girls were reportedly treated as “sex objects.”

The witness, identified as “Jane Doe 6,” testified that O’Connor watched while teenagers engaged in sexual acts inside her San Jose residence, valued at $4 million.

Most of O’Connor’s guests were 14-year-old freshmen from Los Gatos High School, where boys treated girls like “sex objects,” Doe 6 testified.

“I was assaulted, and my friends were assaulted multiple times,” she told the jury.

She revealed that her 14-year-old best friend fell into depression and alcoholism after suffering sexual and physical abuse by boys at O’Connor’s house.

Jane Doe 6 stated that she communicated her concerns to O’Connor, but O’Connor dismissed them, reportedly saying, “She wanted her son to have fun,” adding that the mom “normalized” a sexualized social environment.

Another witness testified that O’Connor and a group of intoxicated teenagers caused disorder at a beach house, describing the scene as an “Animal House,” reported KRON4.

She had allegedly rented a Santa Cruz vacation home to host her son’s birthday celebration in October 2020. The homeowner testified that underage drinking at the event caused about $9,000 in damages.

The exterior of the beach house was monitored by surveillance cameras. Upon reviewing the footage, the homeowner’s initial reaction was, “Oh my God.”

The homeowner testified, “It’s a valuable property. We have two beautiful bathrooms. The boys peed everywhere around the yard … really acting like a bunch of hooligans.”

Surveillance footage showed DoorDash drivers delivering boxes of liquor and beer to the residence. The homeowner stated, “It just kept coming. It was like 20 beers for each kid … copious amounts of alcohol. I was astounded.”

A male teenager who attended the party and identified as “John Doe 5” testified that over 30 teenagers were present.

He said that no adults were present at the party because O’Connor and her husband had left, testifying that “Party Mom” informed the teens where she had hidden bottles of hard liquor and boxes of beer in the backyard.

John Doe 5 described O’Connor’s backyard booze as the biggest stockpile of alcohol he’s ever seen.

Following a three-month courtroom saga, O’Connor, 51, of Los Gatos was convicted Wednesday on 48 felony counts. Ada County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators reported that at several other secret parties organized by O’Connor, she was the only adult present.

According to testimony, O’Connor’s relationships with her son’s friends extended beyond the role of a “cool mom.”

The teen added that O’Connor acted more like one of the “popular girls” in the group and determined who was included or excluded from the popular crowd.

Meanwhile, a mother explained that she was friends with O’Connor and believed her to be a responsible parent. She, along with other local parents, trusted her with their children.

In December 2025, O’Connor called Mercury News from the Elmwood women’s jail in Milpitas to object to her portrayal, she claimed she was being made a scapegoat for teenagers’ actions, and accused the court system of bias.

“They were given immunity to point the finger at me so they wouldn’t get in trouble,” O’Connor said during two 15-minute phone calls from jail on Dec. 23.

“That’s what this is.”

“I’m not saying I’m not at all to blame whatsoever,” she added.

“It was my alcohol that they got drunk off of. It was my home that they were at. I’ve never said that I was not aware of any alcohol. I’ve never stated that. I did become aware of it. I feel responsible.”

The convicted mom’s attorney, Stephen Prekoski, said his client was “crushed” and “very disappointed” by the verdict while speaking to reporters outside the courthouse on Wednesday.

“I don’t think I can say it any better than that,” Preksoski added.

O’Connor is due back in court for final sentencing March 26.
