Meghan Markle and Prince Harry whisked their two young children away for a magical experience at Disneyland, with Meghan Markle uploading a series of images and video footage to Instagram. They visited for Lilibet’s fourth birthday, as one of the pictures displays a Little Mermaid-themed towering birthday cake for Lilibet, with pink icing.
One snippet showed both Lillibet and their son Archie, six, having the chance to meet Disney princess Elsa from Frozen. In a cute moment, Meghan holds her children’s hands as they slowly walk over to take pictures with the Disney princess. In another picture, Meghan and Harry’s children also have fun on some rides at the amusement park, including a carousel. Meghan captioned the posts, “Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” with Peggy Lee’s “It’s a Good Day” playing in the background.
The post featured Meghan, Harry, Lilibet and Archie, all sporting Mickey Mouse ears and joining in with Disney fun. The family enjoyed several attractions, including the newly updated Splash Mountain, now known as Tiana’s Bayou Adventure since 2024.
They also stopped to meet Star Wars stormtroopers and in one snap, Harry also flashes a cheerful smile in another photo as he turns towards the camera while sitting next to Lillibet on another ride. Another picture was taken to show a pile of corndogs and food on a table, showing that the family ate classic amusement park treats during their special visit.
They also experienced Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park.
Throughout the footage, Meghan maintained the family’s privacy by obscuring the children’s faces or covering them with hearts. Since rejoining Instagram at the start of the year, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, has been sharing glimpses of her life in America with her family.
This latest selection of videos and pics is Meghan’s latest post marking her daughter’s fourth birthday on June 4.
Last week, Meghan jumped to her main Instagram page to share a rare photo of herself with daughter Lillibet as well as intimate photos with Prince Harry and his daughter, showing their close bond.
It comes just days after she sparked controversy over a throwback clip of herself twerking in a hospital room ahead of Lillibet’s birth.
In her first post, the Duchess of Sussex wrote on Instagram: “Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives – and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!”
