Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted enjoying an intimate double date with Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana in Vancouver.
The couple, who are currently in Canada for the seventh annual Invictus Games, took some time away to spend an evening with friends at Vancouver’s Vij’s restaurant on Saturday evening.
Following the glittering events of the evening at the opening ceremony of the Games, Meghan and Harry joined the Canadian singer and his wife at the restaurant, which they previously visited in 2024.
Harry and Meghan have been friends with Michael – who was born in Vancouver – and Luisana for several years, with the singer also joining them at a curling event in 2024 at Hillcrest Community Centre.
Speaking of the couple, head chef Vikram Vij told HELLO!: “They are amazing, extremely beautiful, and very friendly.”
During their dining experience, Meghan is said to have impressed the chef with her knowledge of Indian cuisine.
Praising Meghan, Vikram added: “Meghan is awesome and loved all the food.”
Discussing their past visit, he added: “She remembered the chilis from last time, and I was totally impressed because she knew bhindi is the hindi word for okra.”
As reported by GB News, Harry is said to have opted for the lamb popsicles, which was served with fresh mint.
Their visit reportedly saw the group sample various dishes, including a schnitzel with butter chicken sauce, whilst Meghan, 43, expressed interest in their unique pasta dish featuring prawns and coconut milk curry sauce.
After enjoying their meal, the couple visited the kitchen. Speaking of the couple’s visit, Vikram noted Harry and Meghan as being “gracious and grateful”.
The Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans.
The event was first held in London, followed by Orlando two years later, Toronto in 2017, Sydney in 2018, The Hague in 2022 and Dusseldorf in 2023. It has already been revealed that the 2027 event will take place in Birmingham, UK.
