Insane moment Russian tank is obliterated after driving over mine that sparks huge blast

This is the dramatic moment a Russian tank is blown to smithereens on the Ukrainian battlefront.

Russia’s Advanced T-90 Tank is seen trundling through a field in an unknown location in Ukraine.

After becoming flanked by enemy fire, the tank launches a missile from its turret.

Distracted by combat, the T-90 drives over a Ukrainian mine lurking in the undergrowth.

The tank is obliterated upon impact, igniting a huge fireball that sends bits of metal flying into the air.

A charred wreckage is all that remains of the military vehicle following the blast.

Scenes like this have become all too common as Vladimir Putin throws young Russian men into the meat grinder as he perpetrates his bloody war in Ukraine.

Both sides have experienced high casualties but there’s little sign that Putin is losing his appetite for his nearly two-year-old war.

Indeed, Russia is building up its resources for a new stage of the war over the winter, which could involve trying to extend its gains in the east and deal significant blows to the country’s vital infrastructure.

Putin seems to be hoping that relentless military pressure, combined with changing Western political dynamics and a global focus on the Israeli-Hamas war, will drain support for Ukraine and force Kyiv to yield to Moscow’s demands.

“As far as the Russian leadership is concerned, the confrontation with the West has reached a turning point: The Ukrainian counteroffensive has failed, Russia is more confident than ever, and the cracks in Western solidarity are spreading,” said Tatiana Stanovaya, senior fellow with Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center, in a recent analysis.

His calculus appears to be bearing fruit: an aid package for Ukraine has stalled in the US Congress as Republicans insist on linking any more money to US-Mexico border security changes opposed by Democrats. The European Union last week failed to agree on a £42billion package in financial help that Ukraine desperately needs.
