Popular free-to-play game Infinity Nikki is about to get a huge new update, although the good news ends there.
Infinity Nikki update 1.2 has a January 23 release date for fans living in the UK.
Sadly, however, the game has been taken offline in order to implement the PlayStation and PC update.
Infinity Nikki server maintenance runs for a whopping seven hours, beginning at 5.50pm GMT and ending at 12.50am GMT on January 24.
To make up for the extended period of server downtime, the developer will reward players with bonuses like 500 Diamonds and a Resonite Crystal.
As part of the update, fans can expect new limited-time Resonance events, as well as a whole new region.
To celebrate the launch of the ‘Firework Isles’ region, players can check out limited-time events such as “Carnival of Fireworks”.
Other events include “New Bloom Festival” and “New Horizons Day”. Needless to say, new items will also be available from the in-game store.
And it’s not just new content, but also a host of optimisations and bug fixes, some of which can be seen in the patch notes below.
