India claims to have launched fresh strikes on radar and air defence systems inside Pakistan as clashes between the two nations threaten to boil over into all-out war. “It has been reliably learnt that an air defence system at Lahore has been neutralised,” India said in a statement.

The news comes as Pakistan claimed to have killed dozens of Indian soldiers in attacks targeting Indian military facilities in Kashmir. “We have blown their military installations on the de facto border,” Pakistan’s Information Minister Attuallah Tarar said. He went on to claim Islamabad’s forces killed “40-50 Indian soldiers” along the line of control.
