An incredible luxury resort with beachfront villas that opens on a tiny island has been unveiled.
Bahrain, who is eager for more tourists, has opened the Hawar Resort which is perfect for travellers looking for a piece of exclusivity and tranquillity with a slice of first class amenities.
Located on Hawar Island, near the coast of Qatar, the brand new resort is hoping to appeal to holidaymakers with its natural beauty.
Guests on this remote island will not be bored as a range of activities are on offer from water sports, whale watching, hiking, and birdwatching or if you fancy taking it easy you can sit in one of the resort’s fine dining restaurants and enjoy a refreshing drink.
Tourists will have the opportunity to sample traditional Bahraini dishes, prepared by world-class chefs, using fresh ingredients sourced from the very island itself giving you a chance to taste the local produce.
Boasting 104 rooms and villas, including overwater and beachfront villas with private pools, the resort also features state-of-the-art facilities, including a luxury spa and boutique shopping outlets.
The resort is the first of three exciting tourism projects being developed on Hawar Island under the supervision of the Higher Authority for Hawar Islands Development, Travel and Tour World reports.

Bookings are now open for stays at Hawar Resort, starting January 29, 2025.
Hawar Resort is poised to become one of Bahrain’s premier tourism attractions and is also part of Visit Bahrain’s broader strategy to diversify its tourism offerings.
The resort, a part of the prestigious Mantis group, has been integrated into Bahrain’s long-term vision to promote tourism and enhance its hospitality sector.
