The families of a pensioner couple killed in an arson attack at their home in St Helens have released images of them. The couple died following a fire at their South John Street house on Tuesday (July 15).
Police say the investigation is still in its early stages, with initial inquiries focused on determining why the fire was started. The victims have been identified as Peter Eric Greener, 77, and Sheila Jackson, 83. Officers are appealing for anyone with information, especially residents near South John Street who may have seen or heard anything suspicious around the time of the incident, to come forward.
