Scandal is apparently good for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s bottom line.

The controversial “Squad” member from Minnesota ended the year with a record fundraising quarter, pocketing $1.1 million – almost double the average of her previous three quarters, newly released Federal Election Commission filings show.

Between Oct. 1 and Dec. 31, she pulled in more than 10,000 donations. Of those, eight people, all from out of state and including far-left billionaire George Soros’ son Alexander, contributed the maximum $7,000 on the Somali-born lawmaker.

The haul came as the lefty lawmaker increasingly found herself in teh scandal spotlight, after a Page 1 Post story about her hubby Tim Mynett’s shady businesses and the couple’s skyrocketing wealth — which went from almost nothing to between $5 million and $30 million in the span of a year, resulting in probes from the Justice Department and Congress.

At the same time, questions swirled about what she knew of the $9 billion social services scam unraveling in her district and involving the Minnesota Somali community.

In all, her re-election campaign for her Minnesota House seat raked in $2.9 million in 2025.

And Omar immediately began fundraising off her latest controversy, when a deranged man squirted her with apple cider vinegar at a town hall last week.

“Trump’s constant racist, hateful attacks and the far-right threats that they bring require me to hire my own security,” she whined in a fundraising appeal the day after the Jan. 27 incident.

The appeal begged people to chip in $15 to “help keep our Squad safe.” Ilhan Omar/ Facebook

“Security is expensive. Way more expensive than you may think. A lot of people assume that as a member of Congress, it is provided . . . for free – it’s not.”

“If my security team weren’t there to act quickly, things could have been much worse. That’s why I’m humbly asking you to consider chipping in to my campaign today to help me continue to afford my security.”

In 2025, Omar spent at least $21,120 of her campaign funds on private security from Twin City firm Relative Intel, FEC records show.

That’s on top of the $10,000 monthly stipend all House Representatives get for personal security, an amount which was doubled in September in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s assassination.

Omar has not responded to The Post’s requests for comment.
