I never pay full price at McDonald’s – this saves a fortune

Whether you’re yearning for a bite during a long drive or seeking a stomach-settler after a night out, McDonald’s never fails to hit the spot. Now, with this clever hack disclosed by a devoted Maccies fan, you can savour your next meal on a budget.

A TikTok user and self-professed McDonald’s fan, @thefinancegurlvideo, has revealed an effortless cost-cutting tip that’s gone viral, amassing over 8,000 likes from impressed fans. This money-saving manoeuvre works for anything on the menu, be it Chicken McNuggets, the iconic Big Mac, or your favourite wrap. The secret? Simply keep your receipt post-order, advises the TikToker.

“When you get a receipt, you’ll notice that there’s a website address at the top where you can fill in a satisfaction survey. All you need to do is head to that website and fill in the 12-digit code that’s on your receipt.”

After entering the website displayed atop your receipt, the TikTok star explained: “You’ll then be taken to a customer satisfaction survey, which is super quick. It takes about two minutes to complete.”

In return for your feedback, you are awarded a voucher redeemable on a future visit, reports MirrorOnline.

With the received voucher, the TikToker highlighted: “This voucher lets you order a Big Mac plus a medium fries or a side salad for only £2.99.”

But the deal doesn’t stop there—if Big Macs aren’t to your taste, alternative options await such as a McNugget meal, McChicken sandwich, or Filet-O-Fish.

She said “If you don’t want a Big Mac, there’s also alternatives you can choose from, like the McNugget meal, a McChicken sandwich or a Filet-O-Fish. All you need to do is show your QR code at the till and state what your preference is.”

She continued: “So my entire meal came to only £2.99.”

McDonald’s fans are in for a treat as the fast-food giant announces a mouth-watering new menu set to launch on June 18 across all UK and Irish outlets. Whether you’re a toffee enthusiast, burger buff, spice aficionado, or cheese devotee, McDonald’s is gearing up to satisfy your cravings this summer with their latest creation – the Big Arch burger, promising to tackle serious hunger with an all-new tantalising sauce.

In addition to the Big Arch burger, McDonald’s is bringing back the much-loved Cheesy McCrispy, which has been eagerly anticipated by fans. This crispy, flavourful delight is set to make a triumphant return, much to the excitement of McDonald’s enthusiasts.
