A win for Italy would place all of Pool B’s outcomes on tomorrow’s Italy vs. Mexico matchup, where a three-way tie for the top spot would emerge.
Team USA defeated Mexico, 5-3, for just the second time in WBC history last night to keep their perfect record alive.
