How to watch the New York City Pride Parade 2023: Route, TV and streaming details

Returning for its seventh consecutive year, New York City’s Pride March kicks off Sunday.

The parade, slated to begin at 12 p.m. (ET) in Manhattan, takes place during LGBTQ Pride Month along with other celebrations including festivals, parties and picnics – all held across America in June.

According to march organizers, this year’s theme is “Strength in Solidarity” and the parade’s grand marshals are Billy Porter, Yasmin Benoit, AC Dumlao, Hope Giselle and‍ Randolfe “Randy” Wicker

“Our commitment at Heritage of Pride is to continue recognizing our Pride event as a March until complete and full equality has been achieved for all LGBT people,” parade organizers said online.

Hundreds of volunteers installed the giant pink triangle made out of cloth and canvas and with pink lights around its edges last week as part of the city's Pride celebrations. It's an annual tradition that started in 1995 but this year's triangle is nearly an acre in size and can be seen up to 20 miles (32 kms.) away.
