For the second year in a row, Baylor and Auburn will open the college football season against each other.
Last year, the teams met on Baylor’s home field in Waco, Texas; this year, they’ll take over Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium in a marquee non-conference matchup. In the 2025 season-opener, Auburn defeated Baylor, 38–24.
Both teams are coming into the 2026 season hoping to rebound after struggling in the 2025 season and finishing with identical 5-7 records.
