The biggest additions are supposed to make big impacts. They are supposed to help lift their new team to a new level.
For too long, though, the Giants have been underwhelmed by those they invested significant capital in, whether it be in the draft or in free agency. Too often, the newcomers did little to change a culture of losing.
But in Sunday night’s rousing 28-20 season-opening win over the Cowboys at MetLife Stadium, the new additions shined.
