How much are the cheapest tickets to see George Strait on his 2026 tour?

The Cowboy rides again…again.

Starting April 9, George Strait will dust off his Stetsons and return to the road for his annual brief tour.

This time around, he’ll headline seven shows — six of which are in his home state Texas — with special guests Zach Top, Cody Johnson, Wyatt Flores, Miranda Lambert, Dylan Gosset and more on select dates.

And, if you’d like to be there, tickets are available for each and every gig.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for any one concert on sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats was $114 including fees on Vivid Seats (for the May 2 Clemson Memorial Stadium concert).

Other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $125 to $372 including fees on StubHub.

If you’re planning on catching Strait live this year but can’t make these dates be aware that there won’t be any more tour extensions after this; on Jan. 27, he shared on Instagram “these are [the] final shows of 2026” after adding two final nights at Austin’s Moody Center on May 15-16 due to overwhelming demand.

Prior to this outing, the 73-year-old Country Music Hall of Famer last took the stage in July 2025 at SoFi Stadium. Set List FM reported that he performed 28 songs that evening including major hits like “Amarillo by Morning,” “Check Yes Or No,” “All My Ex’s Live in Texas,” “Here for a Good Time” and “Give It Away.”

“[Strait] pick(s) great songs, sing(s) even better and exude(s) a quiet, uncocky confidence that would make anyone feel patriotic about country as a genre,” Variety wrote in a review of the sold-out California concert.

“…May he be here for a long time, as well as a good time.”

George Strait new music

On Sept. 6, 2024, Strait unveiled his 31st studio album “Cowboys and Dreamers.”

The 13-track record doesn’t really surprise but also it doesn’t need to. That’s not what The King of Country is about. Instead, he sticks to his familiar twang and revisits evergreen subject matter like family, friends, the good ol’ days and cold brews.

Can’t-miss cuts here include the plodding “Cowboys and Dreamers” that evokes a pleasant horseback ride, the Jimmy Buffett-esque ode to Miami “MIA in MIA,” melancholy “Wish I Could Say” and stripped-down “Rent,” which recently deceased Nashville singer Keith Gattis wrote. As a warning, Strait’s spoken tribute to the dearly departed preceding the track will surely tug at your heartstrings and may even make you well up.

On a lighter note, you won’t want to skip Strait’s rousing “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame” duet with Stapleton, either. It’s a true crowd-pleaser.

To hear for yourself, you can listen to “Cowboys and Dreamers” in full here.

George Strait special guests

For those not familiar with Strait’s special guests’ sounds — while highly unlikely, it’s possible — here’s each artist’s most-streamed track on Spotify.

Zach Top: “I Never Lie”

Cody Johnson: “‘Til You Can’t”

Wyatt Flores: “Please Don’t Go”

Miranda Lambert: “Drunk (And I Don’t Wanna Go Home Again)”

Hudson Westbrook: “House Again”

Dylan Gosset: “Coal”

Carter Faith: “Greener Pasture”

William Beckmann: “Bourbon Whiskey”
