Nothing beats a fresh-smelling and clean home. Keeping your house nice and tidy makes life so much easier, although many people know that isn’t always easy, especially when you’re going for a big spring clean.
Fortunately, there are a number of tips and tricks out there to help make the cleaning process not only simpler but also more efficient, and in a recent TikTok video, a cleaning expert shared a useful tip on how to keep your house smelling good.
Krish first highlighted to viewers that “when a guest walks into your house, the first thing they notice is the smell,” and so this hack combines two goals, and everyone should try it out.
Many people dread vacuuming, and it tends to leave homes with a musty and off smell. However, making a small change by adding this one thing will not only leave your floors clean but also result in your house smelling nice and fresh.
“Grab yourself any scent booster beads and hoover them up,” he says. “While you’re vacuuming the scent booster fragrance is going to come out of the vent which is going to leave a really nice aroma around your house.”
It is important to note, however, that this technique will unfortunately only work if you have a bag vacuum.
The video gained over 117,000 likes, 403 comments, and more than 25,000 saves, with viewers praising the hack and the creator’s cleaning expertise, branding him a “genius”.
One person wrote: “I do the scent booster and it works it’s lovely”. Another dubbed the scent boosting beads trick as “so smart”.
Whilst one viewer commended Krish “recently started following you and your cleaning tips [are a] game changer thank you”.
He also recommened putting in dryer sheets and hide it around your house, or using it to wipe down stairs as “stairs can actually hold a lot of odour”, as well as mopping walls with a “really strong scented” floor cleaner.
