New UK weather maps show where in England will bask in 30C heat next week as the warm summer temperatures return. The country has been treated to four heatwaves so far this year, and while we won’t see consecutive days of hot conditions this time around, Brits will at least be treated to another day of warmer weather.
According to WXCHARTS maps, aided by Metdesk data, 30C heat will arrive on Monday August 25 in the late afternoon at 18:00. The maps show most of England flashing in red as temperatures range from 27C-30C across the country.
The warmest conditions will be felt in Shropshire and Herefordshire, while much of the Midlands will enjoy temperatures of 29C.
The south and southeast of the UK will see cooler temperatures, with 25C heat expected in Norfolk and 27C temperatures for most of the south coast.
Most of Scotland will see much cooler conditions as temperatures range from 19C-21C.
Wales will enjoy a warm 24C-25C.
The Met Office’s forecast for Monday August 25 – Wednesday August 27 predicts dry and mostly settled conditions to begin with.
The service adds that there will be “some warm sunshine across the south” but conditions will be “cloudier from the west with an increasing chance of heavy and potentially thundery showers from Tuesday.”
