Ex-Neighbours star Holly Valance revealed herself as a supporter of the Tory right as she ripped into “crap” lefties.
The 40-year-old, who also had a career as a pop star, praised Liz Truss, backed Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg for prime minister and branded Lee Anderson as “very sensible”.
She was speaking as she attended the launch of the new Popular Conservatism movement yesterday.
Ms Valance said: “Everyone starts off as a leftie and then wakes up at some point after you start either making money, working, trying to run a business, trying to buy a home, and then realise what crap ideas they all are – and then you go to the right.
“The speakers today were fantastic. I thought Liz was actually really, really interesting to listen to. Jacob for PM.
“The MP for Ashfield was awesome, love a northerner, straight to the point and very sensible.”
