Hilarious moment Storm Henk batters TV presenter who loses glasses live on air

The hilarious moment a TV presenter was nearly swept away by Storm Henk was caught on camera as winds reach nearly 40mph in London.

TalkTV presenter Kevin O’Sullivan was seen falling backwards as high wind can be heard in the background.

His glasses are then seen flying off his head, before being carried away by the wind into a busy road.

Storm Henk has so far caused chaos across the UK, with numerous reports of flooding and damage caused by high wind.

The worst of the storm is said to have passed with the Met Office’s amber warning ending. It has now been replaced with a yellow weather warning.

A wind gust of 81mph – the highest recorded so far – was taken at Exeter Airport in Devon today.

The winds have caused chaos on the roads, with rail firms urging people not to travel as blocked trees or power failures affect a large number of train lines.

In Orpington, south east London, a woman was taken to hospital after being struck by a falling tree.

A Met Office spokesperson said her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

According to UK Power Networks, more than 2,000 properties have been left without power as of 7pm this evening.

There were 234 flood warnings in place, most of which were based in the Midlands, with numerous people sharing pictures and videos of flooding in car parks and fields.

Firefighters were called to rescue people trapped in a car in Kenilworth, Warwickshire, after they became stuck in flood water.
