Heroes, zeros and the full blitz from the Jets’ 26-19 loss to the Patriots on Sunday:

Hero

Drake Maye was 18-for-32 for 235 yards and threw three touchdowns in the win without a turnover. And his numbers likely would have been better if A.J. Brown — just back from an ankle injury — didn’t have a career-high three dropped passes.

Zero

Part of Maye’s success came from the fact the Jets were hardly able to get to him. Even with three New England offensive linemen suffering injuries during the game, the Jets weren’t able to sack Maye once.

Unsung hero

Corey Kiner, the Patriots third-string running back behind Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson, helped seal the victory for New England with a pair of solid returns on special teams, as well as six straight rushing attempts — for a combined 30 yards — on their final scoring drive.

Key stat

1-3: The Jets have lost three of four games on the road this season. Their next two games are at MetLife Stadium.

Quote of the day

“I don’t think anybody feels good about 2-4, but I do feel good about the effort we’re playing with. … No doubt about it, being 2-4 does not feel good, but there’s some things I know we can build on.”
