London Heathrow Airport, the busiest in Europe, has shared its top flight routes for November, and only one destination is outside of Europe.

With 19,206 flights scheduled, Heathrow secures its place as the world’s 10th busiest airport by passenger flights.

The data revealed a dominance of European connections, with one notable transatlantic exception, the highly lucrative route to New York’s JFK Airport.

1. New York JFK
Topping the list is the famed “Billion Dollar Route,” linking Heathrow to New York’s JFK Airport.

This transatlantic corridor is serviced by five carriers: British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and JetBlue.

Passengers enjoy a broad selection of aircraft, from JetBlue’s compact Airbus A321neo to larger wide-body jets like the Airbus A350 and Boeing 777.

2. Frankfurt
The busiest short-haul route from Heathrow, Frankfurt sees heavy service from British Airways and Lufthansa, with the latter scheduling up to 12 daily flights.

The route primarily features Airbus A320neo and A321neo jets, with flight times averaging 90 minutes.

3. Amsterdam Schiphol
Amsterdam comes in third, with flights operated by British Airways and KLM.

This route offers an interesting variety of aircraft, including Embraer regional jets and Boeing 737 models alongside the A320 family.

The proximity of the cities results in quick 80-minute flights.

4. Dublin
Fourth on the list is the connection to Dublin.

Both Aer Lingus and British Airways operate frequent services using Airbus A320 and A320neo aircraft.

Despite its short 75-minute flight time, the route remains a significant link between the UK and Ireland.

5. Munich
Rounding out the top five is Munich, the second-largest hub for Lufthansa.

Shared with British Airways, this route occasionally features Lufthansa’s CityLine regional subsidiary.

The 110-minute flight highlights Heathrow’s role in connecting business hubs across Europe.
