Prince Harry appears to have been snubbed by Brits following a damning verdict on Spare’s paperback release.

Spare, which was originally released in January 2023, hit the shelves once again in the UK as its paperback version went on sale on October 24 – two days after the US release.

Almost two years on from its original release, the contents and cover of the new book are unchanged from the original hardcover edition.

A poll conducted by Express.co.uk asked its readers whether they would purchase Spare in paperback.

The poll ran from 6am on October 24 to 10am on October 25. Of the 6,943 people that answered the poll, just 97 – 1.4 percent – said that they would buy Spare in paperback.

However, a staggering 6,825 – which equalled to 98.3 percent of respondents – said they would not purchase the paperback version. 21 people – which equalled to 0.3 percent – shared that they were undecided on whether they would purchase the paperback version.

Harry appeared to snub King Charles and Prince William with his move upon the latest release.

Along with the unchanged contents of the book, Harry also didn’t modify his heartfelt words at the beginning of the memoir upon publishing its new version.

The foreword showed Harry dedicating Spare to four special people in his life: his wife Meghan Markle, their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and his late mother, Princess Diana.

The memoir, ghost-written by Pulitzer Prize winner J R Moehringer, detailed Harry’s journey from “trauma to healing”.

Discussing Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997 up until his decision to step back from the Firm in 2020, Spare shares revelations, claims and insight into his career and life in the Royal Family.

Prince Harry and Meghan announced their plans to step down from royal duties in 2020, with the pair now residing in the US with their two children.
