Hamas chief flashes wad of US dollars in alarming picture released by IDF


The Israeli military has released an image of a top Hamas official flashing a wad of US dollars as the world’s only Jewish state scrambles to eliminate the terror group.

Mohammed Deif is the leader of Hamas’ Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigade.

In a picture released by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), the terror group chief can be seen grabbing a wad of US dollar notes in one hand.

He also appears to be checking his watch while holding a half-full plastic cup in the other hand.

The image was reportedly discovered among around 70 million digital files the IDF claims it found in Gaza.

Deif is thought to be hiding from Israeli forces and bombs in Hamas’ complex network of underground tunnels in Gaza.

The leader has reportedly been on Israel’s most-wanted list for almost three decades. According to reports, he has survived up to seven attempts on his life. He has impaired sight and movement as a result of the attacks.

He had a wife, an infant son and a three-year-old daughter. They were all reportedly killed during the assassination attempts.

Hamas unleashed a violent assault on Israel on October 7, killing over 1,000 civilians in a horrific terror rampage An estimated 240 people were taken hostage, with 105 later being released by Hamas during a six-day ceasefire.

Israel has waged war on Gaza and is vowing to persist with its bombing campaign until Hamas is wiped off the face of the Earth.

The country’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said on Sunday that the war will not stop until all Israel’s hostages are returned.

The IDF said this weekend that it has completed the dismantling of Hamas’ command structure in northern Gaza, killing 8,000 terror group militants in the area.

Now, Israel will run the same operation to take out its enemies in central and southern Gaza, the IDF has said.

Israel’s brutal bombing campaign on the Gaza Strip has left nearly 23,000 people dead and almost 60,000 injured.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Sunday there could be “catastrophic repercussions” if Israel’s war on Gaza keeps raging on.
