A previous version of our article published on 17 February was incorrectly headlined “Half of farmers consider quitting industry after Rachel Reeves’ inheritance raid”. This was misleading, as it linked the “inheritance raid” with the “half of farmers” who were considering leaving the industry. In fact, the survey which found that half of farmers were quitting leaving the industry did not link this to inheritance tax. This correction has been published following an upheld ruling by the Independent Press Standards Organisation.
