GTA Online fans are counting down to the release of the Agents of Sabotage update on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
The Grand Theft Auto Online Agents of Sabotage update has a December 10 release date and a 10am GMT UK release time.
To ensure you can enjoy the new content the moment the update goes live, PlayStation users can pre-load Agents of Sabotage now.
Currently only available on PS4 and PS5, the Agents of Sabotage pre-load weighs in at around 3GB on the last-gen console and 6BG on PlayStation 5.
The perfect excuse to jump back into GTA Online ahead of Christmas, Agents of Sabotage sees players team up with a former FIB operative turned rogue agent.
With a grudge against her former handlers, the disgruntled FIB agent is said to have maintained backdoor access to the Bureau’s files. Needless to say, players will use this info to plan some big scores.
Rockstar Games explains more: “Take ownership of the Darnell Bros Garment Factory — where plans for some of Los Santos’ most legendary crimes have been hatched — and use it as a covert ops installation in GTA Online: Agents of Sabotage.
“Partner with Jodi, in addition to a familiar face, your first mate Pavel from The Cayo Perico Heist.
“Together, you’ll utilise the latest clandestine tech to zero in on some of the city’s preeminent scores in this thrilling new GTA Online update.”
As you can see from the Agents of Sabotage trailer below, the jobs involve high-speed supercars, helicopters and even remote controlled buggies.
The release of Agents of Sabotage will likely be followed by another festive-themed update ahead of Christmas, complete with the usual bonus items and decorations.
There’s also a slim chance that Rockstar Games will make a new GTA 6 announcement later this week.
Some fans believe GTA 6 may make an appearance at The Game Awards, which takes place on December 12/13 (depending on your region).
The Grand Theft Auto sequel is almost certain to win Most Anticipated Game at the event, which means we could get an official update from Rockstar Games when a spokesperson collects the award.
Considering it’s been a year since the release of the first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer, there’s even a chance The Game Awards will end with GTA 6 Trailer 2.
Something definitely appears to be in the works, after a user on Reddit noticed that Rockstar recently updated the GTA 6 YouTube playlist.
The playlist was previously updated following the release of Trailer 1, which has led to speculation that a second trailer could drop in the coming days.
