They make strange bedfellows.
Gov. Kathy Hochul is being viciously trolled by a parody X account pretending to be her “first gentleman” husband Bill Hochul, The Post has learned.
The faux account — which also sarcastically blasts other prominent liberals — has been roasting the state’s top pol for everything from phony staged press ops to heavy handed policies.
In a recent tweet, it bashed Hochul for a publicity stunt in which she awkwardly sat at a lunch table with elementary schoolers to promote her free school meals initiative.
“My mouth is watering as I look at those delicious school lunches,” it tweeted in September.
“I remember hearing that French kids were served wine with their school lunches back in the day, but that’s nothing compared to the amazing lunches served to New York’s schoolchildren.”
In another tweet, it spoofed Hochul — who’s combined income with her actual husband makes her a multimillionaire — for being out of touch about her own wealth.
“I’ve got news for you. Politicians and their families can be working class folks who live paycheck to paycheck– just look at me and Kathy, barely scraping by!” the account tweeted earlier this month.
“Regulation is key to economic success,” the parody account wrote in another tweet. “That’s why my wife, Governor Kathy Hochul, has enacted a dizzying number of new regulations in New York.”
The fake account — whose handle is “First Gentleman Bill Hochul” — also sarcastically ripped liberals who have defended embattled congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
On Thursday, it posted a biting response to a tweet about a New York Post story that revealed that the feds found had evidence Omar was in sham marriage with her “brother” during a 2016 investigation by the FBI.
“Just by writing slop like this you are disrespecting the sanctity of their marriage!” the account quipped.
The X account bills itself as belonging to “award-winning attorney with over 40 years of experience, currently serving as First Gentleman of New York.”
“Husband of the extraordinary Governor,” it adds.
The account had a paltry 34 followers as of Thursday.
