We know how much the weather can affect UK music festivals, so those attending Glastonbury Festival this week will be interested to know that the festival has seen some of the wettest conditions of selected festivals over the past decade, according to data.

The notorious weather has arguably become part of Glastonbury’s charm, with memorable performances from artists like The Who in 2007 and U2 in 2011 taking place under stormy skies and on muddy ground.

As lucky ticket holders prepare for Glastonbury, they might want to pack both their wellies and suncream if history is anything to go by. Who could forget the waterlogged Worthy Farm in 2005?

The legendary music festival has also seen some pretty hot temperatures over its five-day stretch. Whether you’re rocking a poncho or catching rays between showers, Glastonbury’s unpredictable weather adds to the experience.

We’ve rounded up some of the muddiest and the worst weather photos the iconic festival has ever seen.
